The Northern Rivers Community Gallery (NRCG) is a key cultural institution within the Northern Rivers, supporting local artists and the creative community.

The NRCG supports a range of programs that encourage learning and engagement of local special interest groups and schools. To deepen its engagement with the Ballina Shire community, the NRCG welcomes individuals, businesses and philanthropists to be part of our vision in nuturing the Gallery as a local cultural resource.

Donations are integral to ensuring the ongoing sustainability of NRCG's cultural programs.

All donations are tax deductible and will be issued with a tax receipt. The Northern Rivers Community Gallery is an endorsed deductible gift recipient (DGR) under Subdivision 30-BA of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

To make a tax deductible donation, see Gallery reception or telephone 02 6681 6167.

The Northern Rivers Community Gallery holds complete gift recipient status and is eligible to accept formal donations through the Federal Government's Cultural Gifts Program. All artworks must be assessed against, and deemed to align with, Ballina Shire Council's Collections Management Policy.

Each donation will be required to undergo an assessment by at least two approved valuers and be deemed to align with Ballina Shire Council's Collection Management Policy. The average of the valuations may be claimed as a tax deduction, with some exceptions, for the year in which the gift was made or the deduction may be apportioned over a period of up to five income years.
