NRCG Web Social Media Creative Recovery Workshops 20235

Join artist Katie Alleva to learn the fascinating art of Cyanotypes. Participants will be led step by step through the fascinating technique of cyanotype printmaking using objects, found images, botanicals, drawing and body prints to create a series of dreamy, surrealistic images on high-quality paper. They will also collaborate on a fabric cyanotype mural.

Participants will need to wear covered shoes, bring their own apron, and wear clothes that can get messy. They are also invited to bring a selection of objects that are significant to them, along with leaves, feathers, flowers, fabric, and other flat materials to utilise in their prints. All other materials and equipment will be provided.

Bookings are essential and places are limited.

On completion of the workshop, all works will be kept at NRCG for the Creative Flood Recovery Project Exhibition at Ignite Studios, from 29 June to 9 July 2023. The works will be returned to the Wardell Core for collection during the week beginning 10 July 2023.
