Join exhibiting artists Claudie Frock and Leona DeBolt for a mixed-media workshop exploring colour as both an aesthetic and emotive tool in artmaking. The artists will facilitate a series of activities utilising drawing, painting, textiles, and collage to explore how colour can be a transformative influence and convey meaning for both the artist and audience.

Materials will be provided including drawing and painting tools, collage, sewing materials and paper. Participants with a substrate or surface they particularly wish to work with, or a piece of colourful fabric or paper they would like to utilise, are welcome to bring it along with any other mixed media materials.

This workshop will commence in the Gallery with an Artist-led tour of the exhibition, She’s a Hardcore Rainbow, on display at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery from 10 January to 3 March 2024.

Places for this workshop are limited and advance bookings are essential via the ticketing link below or by phoning the Gallery on 02 6681 0530.
