Sabine Pick’s art-making practice of collage and mixed media is informed by her career as a graphic designer. With her background in typography, she gradually developed a vocabulary of wooden letterpress forms and found materials —using old art books and print materials. Through her delicately balanced compositions, Pick, an Australian artist based in Byron Bay, seeks to create new stories and conversations through the intuitive process of collage.
