Perpetual Transit: Five Years on the Road |  Susan Joyce

Having recently returned home to Bangalow after five years on the road, Susan Joyce’s works reflect both the physical movement of travelling and the contrasting elements of the landscape. Compositionally, Joyce uses a variety of visual cues to guide the viewer on a journey around the canvas and around the country, capturing the diversity and intrigue that is experienced in perpetual transit through this beautiful country. Joyce’s work is informed by her Cornish heritage and her appreciation of the Australian bush.
