These works are about experiences in places, acknowledging the artists’ lineage and ancestry and the slippages that occur with representing landscape ethically. The works are essentially psychological maps of being present in the places visited – the shift in perception, noticing self-talk, discovery of the dialog of place and contributing to the conversation.
